Medusa the Gorgon

I think it's done for now. It really needs a background though. I darkened some of the lines and am giving you the full shot....somewhat. I guess she won't need those hair ribbons after all.

Have you ever stopped to consider the plight of Medusa? She was a beautiful woman who was raped by Poseidon in the temple of Athena. The act outraged the goddess who sent the punishment to Medusa changing her into a gorgon. In time she grew bitter and hateful of men. She is a tragic figure in mythology and I can not truly consider her to be a monster. Her humanity was stolen not only in form when you think about it. She was condemned to not be able to love or be loved. I guess I can connect with that.
